Our Mission

Our Goals

1. Support grieving families and children

Share Loop of Lost Souls with schools, shelters, group homes, and treatment centers. Build a funeral support fund to help families grieving children lost too soon.

2. Create more books and emotional resources

Grow a collection of books, illustrations, and gentle emotional tools that help children, families, and individuals process grief, understand their feelings, and feel less alone. This is the heart of Light for the Lost — offering comfort through story, art, and honest language.

3. Grow slowly and intentionally

Explore nonprofit status, partnerships, and grants at a pace that feels healthy and sustainable. Build systems that honor transparency, artist compensation, and community care.

4. Inspire hope for the lost and unseen

Encourage schools, libraries, and public spaces to share this message: Even in the darkest places, love can still find you. You are not forgotten. You are not alone.

Where We’re Going

Light for the Lost is growing one step at a time. It is a lantern held out for anyone who has ever felt lost, unseen, or unsure how to keep loving through the ache. We are building this together — one story, one family, one act of remembrance at a time.

Shine a Light...

Light for the Lost exists to bring comfort, connection, and hope to families and children who feel lost in the shadows of grief, addiction, or life’s unexpected hardships.

Our first mission is simple and deeply personal:

To share healing stories and use the proceeds to help cover funeral costs for children who pass too soon.

Through books, art, and gentle community support, we offer a light for those carrying heavy grief, quiet battles, or the feeling of being forgotten. We don’t have all the answers yet — but we show up with love, honesty, and the belief that even the smallest light can guide someone forward.

Light for the Lost is here to help people feel seen, supported, and never alone in their darkest moments.
